Are you an experienced project manager, program coordinator, or producer and ready for the next challenge? Are you looking to apply your skills by collaborating with a purpose-driven organization, and use your talents to help evolve the landscape of “work” as we know it?
Are you curious, flexible, and passionate about equity, inclusion and community building?
Do you have experience (professional or lived) in some/many (not necessarily all!) of the following areas:
- Process-driven, organized, and an effective communicator
- Working cross-functionally and with clients, vendors, creatives, facilitators, and designers
- Coordinating and delivering complex projects – logistics, scheduling, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to help yourself and others navigate uncertainty with an eye towards a sense of clarity
- Curious, adaptable, and solutions-based thinker
- Social advocacy
- Working independently & autonomously
We are looking for passion, nuanced understanding, and lived experiences around these skills. Research has shown that some candidates, especially those who are nonwhite and not men, sometimes do not apply to roles unless they feel like they meet all the qualifications. We’re much more interested in building on your strong foundation of DEI/social justice, not ticking boxes on a form.
We are looking for someone who can collaborate well, but also self-direct when needed. Who is organized, open to feedback and can meet deadlines.
We need someone who can manage quick client turnarounds, provide nuanced and detailed deliverables, and be a part of our growing community.
Nova Project Leads work with our client partners from start to finish. They are responsible for managing delivery of learning programs, timelines, DEI strategy and initiatives, and help navigate nuanced and complex situations. They do this through relationship building, candid and clear communication, thinking outside the box, and leading collaboration across Nova’s team and the Client team.
We are looking to start this relationship in a contract capacity, with the goal of it becoming a full-time, flexible, remote role that comes with great benefits.
We’re The Nova Collective, and we work with some of the world’s best companies – and we would love to have you join our Collective!
Nova is a Black-owned, women-owned company devoted to transforming organizational cultures. Nova works with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Supplier Diversity (SD) leaders to build equity and achieve meaningful change, no matter where they are on the DEI journey.
People who work well with us bring a sense of joy and play, even when doing the deepest of work. It’s also extremely important that everyone who joins us has a meaningful understanding of anti-bias work and how to incorporate it into every aspect of their communication.
We know the value of belonging and community. We are excited to work with people who bring their own perspectives and their own lived experiences into our team.
- Contract position – hourly or flat fee negotiated
- Materials provided as needed (laptop, etc)
- No benefits included initially
- Opportunity to transition to full-time role
